the bridesmaid dresses come in one by one

some of the bridesmaid dresses have arrived! here's Hero's, looks FABULOUS!!!!

Meregon's has arrived too, but it's sitting with me at work for now :)

my coral chinese laundry shoes arrived! they're gorgeous and satiny and even have a little bling! the pink doesn't show as much in this picture. let me see if i have another one....

so that bridal sample sale in new west? a bust.. (still tonnes of fun - how could it not be!!) but the day before at isabelle's in north van.. super! found my dress! and the truth is, i found it twice - because it's the very same first dress i tried on in victoria - and the very first dress i tried on there in nvan. i've tried on.. a lot of dresses. maybe close to fifty dresses. i just kept going back to the same dress! it's so perfect for me, so cinderella. 

the most cinderella part of it? a very VERY generous and incredible person is giving this gown to me. this saturday a few of us are going to isabelle's to try that dress on for show and then i'm going to order my own!! 

whooooooooooo!!!

last weekend i went dress shopping with Julie in Victoria (at a very nice shop called Luz Bridal Boutique) and it's broken the ice! now i'm ready for more dresses! oh my god i love wedding dresses! they're so princessy. 

so tomorrow i'm going to another boutique, this one in north vancouver with mum and i'm really really excited. and there's a good chance i'm going to one in new west on sunday cause there's a big sale!! OMG sales AND wedding dresses. it's going to be a zoo! hopefully these vancouver stores let us take pictures :)

i really liked this dress, it's poofy enough to be cinderella-y, but still shows off my shape. ya really liked this one.

 this dress had sparkly things on it. i was/am against sparkly things. the only reason this dress gets away with it is cause the fit is nice and the sparkles are the same color as the dress. the train is too long though!

 i liked this dress a lot too. this is a mikaella dress, who has the same designer as paloma blanca. mikaella is a canadian brand and made in canada. some education. this dress was super light and easy to wear. it doesn't look as spectacular in pictures which is disappointing as it was amazing on! i loved it so much!

this dress was all lace and tulle! so pretty! look at those buttons!! 

this dress was not my style at all. it had pick ups everywhere, which is very pretty - but not me. the lace up was really pretty too, but i could not stand needing help putting it on and taking it off.

i tried on the mikaella dress one last time!! there were a few other dresses, but they were not great. one was satin, and it didn't just feel super heavy, it looked heavy. and unflattering. can't wait to try on more!!
